Nicola
Born in Ischia in 1990 he graduated in Scienze dell’Architettura at Università degli Studi RomaTre.
After the Bachelor he started a master in Progettazione Architettonica at the Bauhaus Universität of Weimar. In the German environment he gets in touch with a completely different method compared to the Italian.
In 2015 he was selected for a collaboration with the Danish office C.F.Moeller.
Consolidate his working experience and he started a collaboration with the OMA office of Rotterdam. Here he worked on different projects as The Factory (UK) and the Simone Veil Bridge (FR).
In specific he worked on the re-design of the Convention Centre of Toulouse (MEETT) and to the preparation of the tender documents of the entire Urban and Architectural project of the exhibition park.
After the experience at the Dutch office he went back to Rome where he graduated in 2017. His thesis regards the design of a skyscraper on a pier of the Maas in Rotterdam. The hybrid building is made of two residential towers intersected by a suspended block with public functions.
After getting his Master, OMA choose him to join the team who will follow the construction of the exhibition park of Toulouse, the MEETT. Therefor in the 2017 he moves to France and thanks to his deep knowledge of the project, archived during the experience in the office of Rotterdam, and to the competences archived on site he manages to integrate himself to the complex French public environment and he remain to the direction of the site until the end of the construction.
In parallel to the building site of the MEETT he follows the last phase of the design of the Simone Veil Bridge in Bordeaux and participate to the design development of the NMBS SNCB Headquarters.
In 2020 he goes back to Ischia where with the brother Francesco decides to start a collaboration that will see them involved in several projects that mix the different experiences archived.
Francesco
Born in Ischia in 1985 he graduated in Scienze dell’Architettura at Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli with a thesis regarding the design of a museum where the surrounding landscape with its beauties and ugliness is seen from different heights and points of views.
He obtains his master in Architecture with the thesis “low cost, high quality”. He reinterprets the concept of low-cost building construction and social housing with self-build houses.
He starts his career in the Napolitan context collaborating with the office Stilelibero and opening the Office Arkistar with three former colleagues.
In 2012 he decides to do a second level master regarding “social housing: nuovi modi di abitare tra innovazione e trasformazione” at the RomaTre university. This experience brings him to Denmark to collaborate with the architectural offices Vandkunsten and Vilelm Lauritzen.
Back to Italy he decides to follow a professional course at the Politecnico di Milano having as theme interior design of hotels restaurants and bars, designing a place where street food and job search come together.
He stars a collaboration of two years with the architectural office Dante O. Benini and Partners in Milan. Here he worked for tree years with Lombardini 22 before moving in the Netherlands to start a collaboration with MVRDV.
In 2021 he decides to move definitively in Italy where with Nicola formalize a collaboration started already years later.
